The Big Guy<\/h2>\n<p>Con le sue dimensioni di 13,70 m di lunghezza e 7,70 m di larghezza, dai pontili di Port des Palmiers, a Hy\u00e8res, una cosa \u00e8 certa, a questo <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bandofboats.com\/it\/tutti-i-marchi\/lagoon\/lagoon-440\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Lagoon 440 <\/a>sono necessari due posti barca sostare in porto. Con 4 cabine doppie, 4 bagni, 2 punti di prua, 2 saloni, un flybridge e un mezzo-salone di prua, il Lagoon 440 \u00e8 tra <strong>i catamarani pi\u00f9 spaziosi dei suoi tempi.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Dal retro, i due galleggianti permettono l\u2019accesso a bordo e consentono l\u2019uso di piccoli argani per sollevare un tender, anche piuttosto grosso (qui 3,20 m con un HB di 15 CV). Un grande tender per una barca che pu\u00f2 trasportare da 8 a 12 persone \u00e8 un must. I collegamenti elettrici sono installati anche sul lato posteriore a babordo.<\/p>\n<p>Una volta a bordo, si arriva sul salone di poppa, installato a dritta, che pu\u00f2 ospitare 12 passeggeri. Un lavandino e un carrello sul lato sinistro facilitano il servizio al tavolo. La cabina di pilotaggio non \u00e8 \u201cingombra\u201d con nessun accessorio per la vela. La cabina di pilotaggio principale si trova sul flybridge.<\/p>\n<p>Le passerelle sono estremamente confortevoli, c\u2019\u00e8 molto spazio all\u2019esterno, quasi 90 m2. Andando avanti, si arriva ai piedi dell\u2019albero (posto sul tetto). Se andiamo oltre, siamo di fronte a un salone molto piacevole sul ponte anteriore, perfetto per gli aperitivi al sole. I grandi bauli ospitano serbatoi d\u2019acqua e il dispositivo di comando del vicino verricello. Parecchia tela<\/h2>\n<p>L\u2019albero ha due piani di barre e frecce che consentono di rinunciare ai paterazzi. Lo strallo viene effettuato su un raccordo saldamente fissato alla trave incrociata che collega i galleggianti.<\/p>\n<p>Il boma, piuttosto elevato, riceve una randa steccata con 3 striscie (non si tratta di un lusso, occorre essere in grado di ridurre molto su un multiscafo che non si sbanda). Nella parte anteriore, il nostro esemplare dispone di un genovese con elevata sovrapposizione. Il tutto rappresenta non meno di <strong>116 m2 di superficie velica sopravento <\/strong>. Un flybridge molto ben progettato<\/h2>\n<p>Tutte le manovre di rigging sono rimandate sul tetto all\u2019abitacolo del flybridge. Una volta in cima, \u00e8 chiaro che si ha una vista magnifica dei dintorni della barca. La posizione del timone \u00e8 comoda e spaziosa. C\u2019\u00e8 posto comodamente per quattro. Controlli del motore, indicatori diesel, ripetitore, c\u2019\u00e8 tutto. Per la manovra, 4 argani, di cui uno grande da 60 destinato principalmente alla randa, alla parte di poppa posteriore e, alla parte anteriore del flybridge, uno a babordo e due a tribordo. La randa \u00e8 gestita dall\u2019argano di poppa, le drizze da un piano di tribordo e le strisce da un secondo piano, anch\u2019esse installate a tribordo. Tutte le manovre sono facilmente accessibili dal timoniere.<\/p>\n<p>Tornato gi\u00f9, visito il grande spazio interno dove a sinistra si trova un tavolo da mappe ben attrezzato. Sul modello testato, \u00e8 previsto inoltre un controllo del gas, che autorizza, con l\u2019aiuto del comando pilota qui installato, il controllo della barca dall\u2019interno. Un\u2019ampia cucina<\/h2>\n<p>Sul retro, rivolta all\u2019indietro, la grande cucina accoglie fornelli a 3 fuochi, un enorme frigorifero, un vero congelatore e un ampio piano di lavoro. Molto ben studiato. In ogni scafo, due cabine con i loro bagni. Le cabine di poppa sono pi\u00f9 spaziose delle cabine anteriori. Si parte<\/h2>\n<p>\u00c8 un weekend di maestrale, ma abbiamo deciso di non allontanarci troppo. Cos\u00ec ci dirigiamo verso Bormes-les-Mimosas. I due mulini si avviano immediatamente alla prima sollecitazione e, una volta inondati, ruoto facilmente l\u2019imbarcazione mettendo i motori in opposizione.<\/p>\n<p>Un primo lungo sottovento in direzione di Porquerolles rappresenta l\u2019opportunit\u00e0 di provare questa barca da solo. Solo sul flybridge, s\u00ec, perch\u00e9 al piano inferiore e nonostante i 20 nodi stabiliti, tutti parlano e si preparano un aperitivo\u2026. Esco con un ris e, esperto del mondo dei monoscafi, ho sempre la mano non lontana dalla randa, e mi chiedo se dovrei, o meno, prenderla un secondo\u2026 Ma s\u00ec, la prendo, Inizio ad avviare i mulini, poi avvicino il congegno al vento, scuoto il lenzuolo e poi la drizza mentre riprendo la gobba del ris per finire allungando la drizza. Fantastico, si fa tutto facilmente, in tre minuti senza lasciare, o quasi, la mia postazione\u2026<\/p>\n<p>Il giorno successivo, il ritorno \u00e8 francamente pi\u00f9 sportivo dalla baia di Port-Man. 25 nodi stabiliti, con punte a 30, usciamo con due ris e il genovese arrotolato per un lungo tratto vicino in direzione di Hy\u00e8res.<\/p>\n<p>il <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bandofboats.com\/it\/tutti-i-marchi\/lagoon\/lagoon-440\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Lagoon 440<\/a>, colpisce le onde, gli spruzzi risalgono fino al flybridge e ho ancora questa paura ancorata alle viscere di ribaltamento o disalberamento di questi grandi catamarani\u2026 Le raffiche di vento sono frequenti, prendiamo un terzo ris, automatico, anche lui su questa barca, sempre dalla cabina di pilotaggio. Questo \u00e8 rassicurante e senza correre alcun rischio.<\/p>\n<p>Sento immediatamente la barca meno nervosa anche se le funi fischiano nelle folate di vento. Epilogo<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Al porto, facendo il giro la barca per assicurarmi di non aver dimenticato nulla a bordo di questo <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bandofboats.com\/it\/tutti-i-marchi\/lagoon\/lagoon-440\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Lagoon 440 <\/a>\u201cun dettaglio mi rende perplesso: la paratia della cabina di prua presenta un\u2019importante apertura mascherata dalla giuntura flessibile oltre allo sfondamento di un angolo verso il ponte e una traccia di riparazione\u2026 Una paratia difettosa in questa zona pu\u00f2 portare allo disalberamento. Senza dubbio, questa barca ha sofferto molto, la paratia si \u00e8 rotta ed \u00e8 stata riparata in modo estetico\u2026 Osservando la faccia del suo proprietario quando gliela faccio vedere, ne deduco che non ne sapeva nulla. En effet, avec 4 cabines doubles, 4 salles d\u2019eau, 2 pointes avant, 2 carr\u00e9s, un flybridge et un demi carr\u00e9 avant, <strong>le Lagoon 440 compte parmi les catamarans les plus spacieux de son \u00e9poque.<br \/><\/strong>De l\u2019arri\u00e8re, les deux flotteurs permettent l\u2019acc\u00e8s \u00e0 bord et autorisent l\u2019utilisation de bossoirs pour lever une annexe, m\u00eame imposante (ici 3,20 m avec un HB de 15 HP).<strong> Une grosse annexe pour le Lagoon 440 qui peut emporter entre 8 et 12 personnes, c\u2019est un must<\/strong>. La baille \u00e0 mouillage contient 45 m de cha\u00eene de 12 mm, du s\u00e9rieux.<br \/>Enfin, tout \u00e0 l\u2019avant, <strong>les balcons offrent deux si\u00e8ges, de part et d\u2019autres des trampolines du Lagoon 440.<\/strong><\/p><h2>Beaucoup de toile<\/h2><p>Le m\u00e2t comporte deux \u00e9tages de barres de fl\u00e8ches poussantes permettant de se passer de pataras. L\u2019\u00e9tai est pris sur une ferrure solidement assujettie \u00e0 la poutre transversale reliant les flotteurs.<br \/>Quant \u00e0 la b\u00f4me, assez haute, elle re\u00e7oit une grand-voile latt\u00e9e disposant de 3 bandes de ris (\u00e7a, ce n\u2019est pas un luxe, il faut pouvoir beaucoup r\u00e9duire sur un multicoque qui ne g\u00eete pas). A l\u2019avant, notre exemplaire dispose d\u2019un g\u00e9nois \u00e0 fort recouvrement. Le tout repr\u00e9sente pas moins de <strong>116 m2 de surface de voile au pr\u00e8s<\/strong>. A titre de comparaison, un monocoque \u201cperformance\u201d de 44 pieds emporte moins de 100 m2.<\/p><h2>Le flybridge du Lagoon 440<\/h2><p><img class=\"aligncenter wp-image-11554 size-full\" title=\"Poste de pilotage du Lagoon 440\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.bandofboats.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/fb.png\" alt=\"Photo du poste de pilotage du Lagoon 440\" width=\"830\" height=\"516\" \/><\/p><p>Toutes les man\u0153uvres du gr\u00e9ement sont renvoy\u00e9es sur le roof vers le cockpit du flybridge. <strong>Une fois en haut du Lagoon 440, force est de constater qu\u2019on y dispose d\u2019une vue royale sur les abords du bateau.<\/strong> La position assise \u00e0 la barre est confortable ainsi que spacieuse. D'ailleurs, on y tient facilement \u00e0 quatre. Commandes des moteurs, jauges gazole, r\u00e9p\u00e9titeur, tout y est. Pour la man\u0153uvre, 4 winchs, dont un gros de 60 destin\u00e9 principalement \u00e0 la grand-voile, \u00e0 l\u2019arri\u00e8re b\u00e2bord, et, \u00e0 l\u2019avant du flybridge, un sur b\u00e2bord et deux sur tribord. La grand-voile se g\u00e8re depuis le winch arri\u00e8re, les drisses depuis un piano tribord et les ris depuis un second piano, lui aussi install\u00e9 \u00e0 tribord. Ainsi, toutes les man\u0153uvres sont facilement accessibles par le barreur.<\/p><p>De retour en bas, je visite les grands carr\u00e9s int\u00e9rieurs \u00e0 la gauche desquels se trouve une table \u00e0 carte bien \u00e9quip\u00e9e. Sur le mod\u00e8le essay\u00e9, elle comporte m\u00eame une commande de gaz, autorisant, avec l\u2019aide de la commande du pilote install\u00e9e ici, le contr\u00f4le du bateau depuis l\u2019int\u00e9rieur. Un gros traceur Raymarine, une radio ASN, un AIS, un r\u00e9partiteur et la hifi compl\u00e8tent le tableau.<\/p><h2>Au coeur du Lagoon 440 : la grande cuisine<\/h2><p><img class=\"aligncenter wp-image-11555 size-full\" title=\"Photo de la cuisine du Lagoon 440\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.bandofboats.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/carre\u0301.jpg\" alt=\"La cuisine du Lagoon 440\" width=\"900\" height=\"599\" \/><\/p><p> <\/p><p>Derri\u00e8re, tourn\u00e9e, vers l\u2019arri\u00e8re, la vaste cuisine du catamaran offre une cuisini\u00e8re 3 feux, un immense r\u00e9frig\u00e9rateur, un vrai cong\u00e9lateur, et un grand plan de travail. Tr\u00e8s bien pens\u00e9. Dans chaque coque, deux cabines et leurs salles d\u2019eau. Les cabines arri\u00e8res sont plus spacieuses que les cabines avant. Par ailleurs, toutes offrent d\u2019abondants rangements et une vue sur mer via les hublots de coque.<\/p><h2>En route \u00e0 bord du Lagoon 440 !<\/h2><p>C\u2019est un weekend de mistral qui s\u2019annonce, mais nous avons d\u00e9cid\u00e9 de ne pas trop nous \u00e9loigner. C\u2019est ainsi que nous nous dirigeons vers Bormes-les-Mimosas. Les deux moulins d\u00e9marrent illico \u00e0 la premi\u00e8re sollicitation et, une fois d\u00e9bord\u00e9,<strong> je fais facilement pivoter le Lagoon 440 en mettant les moteurs en opposition<\/strong>.<\/p><p><img class=\" wp-image-13273 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.bandofboats.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/09\/lagoon-440-band-of-boats-1-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"391\" height=\"293\" \/><\/p><p>Un premier long bord au portant en direction de Porquerolles repr\u00e9sente l\u2019occasion de tester ce bateau seul. Seul sur le flybridge oui, car pendant ce temps, \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9tage en dessous et malgr\u00e9 les 20 n\u0153uds \u00e9tablis, tout le monde discute et un ap\u00e9ritif se pr\u00e9pare\u2026. Sorti avec un ris, et issu du monde des monocoques, j\u2019ai toujours la main pas loin de l\u2019\u00e9coute de grand-voile, et je me demande si je dois, ou non en prendre un second\u2026 Aller, je le prends, je d\u00e9marre les moulins puis rapproche l\u2019engin du lit du vent, je choque un peu l\u2019\u00e9coute puis la drisse tout en reprenant la bosse de ris \u00e0 fond puis finis en \u00e9tarquant la drisse. Super, tout se fait facilement, en trois minutes sans quitter, ou presque, mon si\u00e8ge\u2026<\/p><p>Par contre,  le retour le lendemain est franchement plus sportif depuis la calanque de Port-Man. 25 n\u0153uds \u00e9tablis, avec des pointes \u00e0 30, on sort avec deux ris et le g\u00e9nois roul\u00e9 pour un long bord de pr\u00e8s en direction de Hy\u00e8res. Ainsi, le Lagoon 440 tape dans les vagues, les embruns montent jusqu\u2019au flybridge et j\u2019ai toujours cette crainte chevill\u00e9e aux tripes du renversement ou du d\u00e9m\u00e2tage sur ces gros catamarans\u2026 Les rafales \u00e9tant fr\u00e9quentes, nous prenons un troisi\u00e8me ris, automatique, lui aussi sur ce bateau, toujours depuis le poste de pilotage. \u00c7a c\u2019est s\u00e9curisant et sans courir aucun risque.<br \/>Je sens d\u2019embl\u00e9e le bateau moins nerveux m\u00eame si les haubans sifflent dans les rafales. Finalement, je suis content de n\u2019avoir \u00e0 parcourir qu\u2019une distance r\u00e9duite \u00e0 ce r\u00e9gime...<\/p><h2>La conclusion de l'essai du Lagoon 440<\/h2><p>N\u00e9anmoins, au port, en faisant le tour du bateau pour m\u2019assurer que nous n\u2019y avions rien oubli\u00e9 dans ce <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bandofboats.com\/fr\/buy\/marque\/lagoon\/modele\/lagoon-440\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Lagoon 440<\/a>, un d\u00e9tail me crispe : la cloison de la cabine avant b\u00e2bord pr\u00e9sente un jour important masqu\u00e9 au joint souple ainsi qu\u2019un enfoncement dans un coin vers le pont et une trace de r\u00e9paration\u2026 Une cloison d\u00e9fectueuse dans cette zone peut entra\u00eener un d\u00e9m\u00e2tage. Aucun doute, ce bateau a souffert fortement, la cloison \u00e0 cass\u00e9 et a \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9par\u00e9e d\u2019une mani\u00e8re cosm\u00e9tique\u2026 Cependant, \u00e0 voir la t\u00eate de son propri\u00e9taire quand je la lui montre, il n\u2019en savait rien.
