Estremamente robusto e riccamente equipaggiato, poich\u00e9 i cantieri proponevano unit\u00e0 \u201cfull optional\u201d di standard, il Santorin segnava, al momento del suo varo nel 1989, il ritorno della gamma Amel a imbarcazioni di dimensioni pi\u00f9 piccole (comunque sempre 46\u2019) e con armo a sloop. Barche a vela robuste<\/h2>\n<p>\u00c8 evidente nel corso di ogni giro intorno al mondo: il rischio di collisione con un oggetto galleggiante non identificato \u00e8 reale. Le imbarcazioni Amel sono munite di comparti stagni, indipendenti gli uni dagli altri. Dei pulpiti interamente in inox (senza cavi), continui, che corrono da poppa a prua, sono in grado di impedire a un peso massimo di cadere in acqua. Le loro piastre sono montate su un listone massiccio. Lo spessore dei materiali impiegati sul ponte e per i gavoni (giganteschi, due gavoni a prua) \u00e8 nettamente maggiore rispetto a quello cui siamo abituati sulle unit\u00e0 di alta gamma. Barche a vela marine<\/h2>\n<p>Il termine \u201cmarino\u201d per Henri Amel rivestiva diversi significati. I cantieri volevano realizzare <strong>un\u2019imbarcazione sicura, facile da condurre in due ed efficace a vela<\/strong>. Il pozzetto centrale molto profondo, protetto da un parabrezza sormontato da un tettuccio rigido offrono alla barca l\u2019inconfondibile look \u201cAmel\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Al di l\u00e0 del look, comunque, questo <strong>pozzetto assomiglia di pi\u00f9 a quello di un \u201ctimoniere\u201d<\/strong> che a quello di una barca a vela convenzionale. La protezione \u00e8 totale per lo skipper che timona seduto su un sedile imbottito. La protezione \u00e8 eccellente dovunque ci si trovi nel pozzetto. I bordi liberi sono alti. Non occorre neppure un altro paio di braccia: la randa sull\u2019avvolgifiocco e il winch self tailing di serie permettono di svolgere questa manovra molto facilmente! C\u2019\u00e8 una bella differenza rispetto a un sistema a presa di terzarolo classica dove occorre andare a fissare la gassa al piede dell\u2019albero\u2026<\/p>\n<p>Anche il genoa \u00e8 montato sull\u2019avvolgifiocco e dispone a sua volta di un winch elettrico per la regolazione. Sempre sul quadro di bordo, il comando remoto del verricello. Sapendo che molto spesso il membro dell\u2019equipaggio incaricato dell\u2019ancora non \u00e8 esperto in materia, perch\u00e9 non spostare sempre questo comando al pozzetto o su un telecomando? Qui troviamo un Perkins da 60 HP montato sulla linea d\u2019asse. Una linea d\u2019asse che dispone di un alternatore in serie!<\/p>\n<p>Una barca a vela marina \u00e8 anche un\u2019imbarcazione che pu\u00f2 trasportare diverse attrezzature e dispone di numerosi spazi di stivaggio. Una barca a vela comodissima dalle finiture di alta gamma!<\/h2>\n<p>Se all\u2019esterno il comfort si coglie solo tramite la qualit\u00e0 delle sedute e delle finiture, quando si scende nel Santorin, la qualit\u00e0 dei rivestimenti stupisce! Io che sono abituato alle unit\u00e0 di alta gamma sono rimasto impressionato da questo Santorin di 28 anni di et\u00e0. La sua proprietaria ricorda i 12 strati di vernice di fabbrica\u2026<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-11058 size-medium aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.bandofboats.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/vernis-santorin-300x159.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"159\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blog.bandofboats.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/vernis-santorin-300x159.png 300w, https:\/\/blog.bandofboats.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/vernis-santorin.png 564w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Ma una bella vernice fa effetto su finiture eseguite alla perfezione. Qui si tratta di mobili che sono veri e propri capolavori d\u2019ebanisteria, i gatti sono massicci, gli spessori importanti e tutta la chincaglieria \u00e8 di prima qualit\u00e0. Il tavolo del quadrato, che contiene un bar nella base, sembra estremamente solido. Non \u00e8 uno di quei tavoli che andrebbe in mille pezzi sotto il mio peso senza un minimo di rollio come \u00e8 avvenuto piuttosto di recente con quello di una produzione tedesca\u2026<\/p>\n<p>Il comfort \u00e8 anche rappresentato dal fatto di non dover scegliere tra una lista interminabile di optional, ma di disporre di una barca ben attrezzata di standard (con un livello di prezzo proporzionale) offrendo randa e genoa su avvolgifiocco elettrico, riscaldamento, alternatore d\u2019albero, tangoni, sistemi di estintori automatici, pilota automatico, elettronica\u2026<\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text admin_label=&#8221;Paragraphe 4&#8243; module_id=&#8221;titre4&#8243; _builder_version=&#8221;4.21.0&#8243; background_size=&#8221;initial&#8221; background_position=&#8221;top_left&#8221; background_repeat=&#8221;repeat&#8221; custom_margin=&#8221;50px||||false|false&#8221; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;]<\/p>\n<h2>4. Un piano classico ma con una cuccetta di guardia<\/h2>\n<p>Il piano interno comporta a prua una cabina doppia a V, con un abbondante spazio di stivaggio nella parte alta e un bagno con doccia.<\/p>\n<p>Il quadrato al centro dell\u2019imbarcazione presenta un tavolo ripiegabile a tribordo che consente di liberare spazio o di accogliere 8 persone. Il collaudo del Santorin<\/h2>\n<p>Avendo appuntamento per questi due giorni di collaudo al \u201cmolo degli Amel\u201d del porto di Hy\u00e8res, mi chiedevo se questo appellativo non fosse un tantino esagerato. Tutt\u2019altro! Nel 2011 ci sono non meno di 12 Amel allineati come in parata. Amel 54, Super Maramu 2000, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bandofboats.com\/it\/tutti-i-marchi\/amel\/super-maramu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Super Maramu<\/a>, Santorin ketch, sloop\u2026 Ce n\u2019\u00e8 per tutti i gusti e l\u2019aria di famiglia \u00e8 inconfondibile, cosa che non mi aiuta a individuare quello che aspetta me\u2026<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-11064 size-medium aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.bandofboats.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/santo-face-300x217.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"217\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blog.bandofboats.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/santo-face-300x217.jpg 300w, https:\/\/blog.bandofboats.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/santo-face.jpg 493w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Quando prendo posto nel pozzetto di questo Santorin Sloop, ho la strana impressione di trovarmi ai comandi di un\u2019imbarcazione a motore tanto l\u2019atmosfera \u00e8 diversa da quella trovata abitualmente a bordo di una barca a vela.<\/p>\n<p>Regalmente installato dietro il mio parabrezza, avvio il motore e faccio uscire l\u2019elica di prua. Una volta mollati gli ormeggi, esco dal posto barca e faccio ruotare l\u2019imbarcazione sul posto. Lascio il porto e il programma per questi due giorni prevede un\u2019andata-ritorno Hy\u00e8res-Cap Lardier. La barca viaggia benissimo a motore 8 nodi a 3000 giri e 7,2 a 2400 giri, andatura di crociera. Fortunatamente, il meteo di questa mattina ci offre un forza 4 con un mare poco mosso, ma per domani ce ne aspettiamo 6! Evviva!<\/p>\n<p>Spiegare la randa elettricamente \u00e8 un vero gioco da ragazzi, cos\u00ec come cazzarla dal winch elettrico installato sulla barca a vela. La manovra elettrica del genoa segue altrettanto facilmente. Eseguo queste manovre comodamente seduto dietro il parabrezza, senza nemmeno sentire il vento sul mio viso! Spiego tutto il genoa e la randa da solo, in appena due minuti. La posizione del timone \u00e8 sorprendente e, con meno tangheggio, assomiglia un po\u2019 a quella di un catamarano. A proposito di tangheggio: un indicatore graduato dal fascino d\u2019altri tempi lo indica con precisione. Uscendo dalla baia con un vento da est, rimango a vele spiegate per un primo lato di bolina in direzione dell\u2019isola di levante. Con questa andatura, all\u2019uscita dalla baia, siamo un po\u2019 troppo telati. Pazienza! Metto la barca sopravento, inserisco il pilota automatico, lasco la scotta con una mano e con l\u2019altra utilizzo il comando elettrico della randa per prendere una mano di terzarolo. Di bolina (40\u00b0 di vento), con vento a 15 nodi, il genoa spiegato e un terzarolo raggiungiamo gli 8 nodi quasi immediatamente. Ci vogliono 80\u00b0 alla barca per virare, non male per una barca a vela armata di una randa non steccata.<\/p>\n<p>La barca \u00e8 impaziente, ma non troppo, \u00e8 piacevole. Le sensazioni al timone, invece, non sono un granch\u00e9. La trasmissione a catena ha qualcosa a che fare con questo. Questa mattina il vento ha rinforzato, sempre 6 beaufort e onde da 1,5 a 2 m.<\/p>\n<p>Ci mettiamo in marcia con prudenza, con una mano di terzaroli al genoa e alla randa. Con 25 nodi di vento, la barca non avanza ad andatura portante con questo guardaroba. Passiamo a vele spiegate, sempre con la stessa facilit\u00e0, e le 13 tonnellate a carico del motore calano su un lato, trattenute dalle 4 tonnellate di zavorra del bulbo sotto lo scafo.<\/p>\n<p>8, 9 e 10 nodi con le onde! La barca viaggia veloce e timonare con l\u2019onda \u00e8 sempre un grande piacere, anche se le sensazioni non sono quelle di una crociera.<\/p>\n<p>In compenso, quando si prende l\u2019onda, ben protetti dal parabrezza e dalla calotta, non ci bagna NEPPURE UNO SPRUZZO. Siamo perfettamente al riparo e a me dispiace: amo tirare fuori gli stivali, la salopette e la cerata che resteranno qui, malgrado il tempo, nella mia borsa!<\/p>\n<p>Almeno non li dovr\u00f2 pulire! Magra consolazione\u2026<\/p>\n<p><strong>L\u2019esperienza di manovrare da soli una barca a vela di bolina tra le onde senza ricevere neppure una goccia di acqua di mare sugli occhiali dal proprio posto di timoniere pu\u00f2 sembrare sconcertante, a un primo impatto, ma il programma di questa barca a vela non prevedeva la grande crociera, gli orizzonti lontani, l\u2019altro capo del mondo? Del resto, non si incrocia sempre un Amel all\u2019ancora nei luoghi pi\u00f9 remoti? Le chantier voulait un <strong>bateau s\u00fbr, facile \u00e0 mener \u00e0 deux et bon marcheur \u00e0 la voile<\/strong>. Le cockpit central tr\u00e8s profond, prot\u00e9g\u00e9 par un pare-brise surmont\u00e9 d\u2019une casquette en dur assurent au bateau un look \u201cAmel\u201d impossible \u00e0 rater.<\/p><p>Mais au-del\u00e0 du look, ce <strong>cockpit est plus proche de celui d\u2019un \u201ctimonier\u201d<\/strong> que de celui d\u2019un voilier conventionnel. La protection y est totale pour le skipper qui barre assis sur un si\u00e8ge rembourr\u00e9. La protection est excellente ou qu\u2019on se trouve dans ce cockpit. Les francs-bords sont hauts. De son poste, parfaitement au sec, on a toutes les commandes sous la main.<\/p><p><img class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-11053\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.bandofboats.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/pilotage-santorin.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"480\" height=\"360\" \/><\/p><p>Sur ce Santorin, nul besoin de courir au pied du mat pour prendre un ris. Nul besoin m\u00eame de disposer d\u2019une seconde paire de bras : la grand-voile sur enrouleur et le winch self tailing de s\u00e9rie autorisent cette man\u0153uvre tr\u00e8s facilement ! C\u2019est bien diff\u00e9rent d\u2019un syst\u00e8me \u00e0 prise de ris classique ou il faut aller accrocher l'\u0153il en pied de mat\u2026<br \/>Le g\u00e9nois est aussi mont\u00e9 sur enrouleur et dispose, lui aussi, d\u2019un winch \u00e9lectrique pour son r\u00e9glage. Toujours au tableau de bord, la commande d\u00e9port\u00e9e de guindeau. Sachant que bien souvent l\u2019\u00e9quipier charg\u00e9 du mouillage ne ma\u00eetrise pas son sujet, pourquoi ne d\u00e9porte-t-on pas toujours cette commande au cockpit ou sur une t\u00e9l\u00e9commande ? Enfin, on trouve celle du propulseur d\u2019\u00e9trave, r\u00e9tractable, pour efficacit\u00e9 optimale en man\u0153uvre et une glisse pr\u00e9serv\u00e9e.<\/p><p><img class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-11054\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.bandofboats.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/pilo-santorin.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"533\" height=\"400\" \/><\/p><p>La grande barre \u00e0 roue gain\u00e9e de cuir, un indicateur de g\u00eete, les commandes moteur port\u00e9e de main gauche, les feux, deux porte gobelets et une cloche compl\u00e8tent le tableau d\u2019un poste de pilotage \u201cpullman\u201d.<\/p><p>Un voilier marin, c\u2019est aussi un <strong>voilier facile \u00e0 maintenir.<\/strong> Sur le <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bandofboats.com\/fr\/buy\/marque\/amel\/modele\/santorin#utm_source=blog&utm_medium=article_essai&utm_campaign=amel_santorin\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Santorin<\/a>, on acc\u00e8de au moteur en soulevant le plancher du cockpit pour d\u00e9couvrir une v\u00e9ritable \u201csalle des machines\u201d, le pilote est accessible derri\u00e8re un panneau, depuis l\u2019int\u00e9rieur, tout comme le syst\u00e8me de cr\u00e9maill\u00e8re de la barre (dure).<\/p><p><img class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-11055\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.bandofboats.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/engine-room-santo-1024x681.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"681\" \/><\/p><p>Un voilier marin dispose d\u2019un moteur puissant. Moi qui suis habitu\u00e9 aux unit\u00e9s de grande s\u00e9rie, je trouve que ce Santorin de 28 ans d\u2019\u00e2ge m\u2019impressionne. Sa propri\u00e9taire \u00e9voque les 12 couches de vernis d\u2019usine\u2026<\/p><p><img class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-11058\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.bandofboats.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/vernis-santorin.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"564\" height=\"298\" \/><\/p><p>Mais de beaux vernis font de l\u2019effet sur des menuiseries parfaitement ex\u00e9cut\u00e9es. Ici il s\u2019agit de meubles d\u2019\u00e9b\u00e9nisterie, les chats sont massifs, les \u00e9paisseurs importantes et toute la quincaillerie de premi\u00e8re qualit\u00e9. La table du carr\u00e9 qui comporte un bar dans son pi\u00e9tement semble extr\u00eamement solide. ce n\u2019est pas cette table qui volerait en \u00e9clat sous mon poids sans un coup de roulis comme, assez r\u00e9cemment, celle d\u2019une production Allemande\u2026<\/p><p>Le confort c\u2019est aussi de ne pas avoir \u00e0 choisir parmi une liste interminable d\u2019\u00e9quipements en option mais de disposer d\u2019un bateau tr\u00e8s \u00e9quip\u00e9 en standard (avec un niveau de prix en rapport) offrant, grand voile et g\u00e9nois sur enrouleurs \u00e9lectriques, chauffage, alternateur d\u2019arbre, tangons, syst\u00e8mes d\u2019extincteurs automatiques, pilote, \u00e9lectronique....<\/p><h2>Un plan classique mais une couchette de veille<\/h2><p>Le plan int\u00e9rieur comporte, \u00e0 l\u2019avant, une cabine double en V, disposant de beaucoup de rangements en partie haute et d\u2019un cabinet de toilette avec douche.<br \/>Le carr\u00e9, au milieu du bateau comporte une table rabattable sur tribord pour la transformer en un espace ou d\u00eener \u00e0 8. On y trouve un support de verres mont\u00e9 sur cardans !<\/p><p><img class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-11059\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.bandofboats.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/carre\u0301-santo.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"600\" \/><\/p><p>Sur b\u00e2bord, on trouve aussi la couchette de veille. En arri\u00e8re du carr\u00e9, la cuisine en L.<\/p><p><img class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-11060\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.bandofboats.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/cuisine-santo.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"354\" height=\"500\" \/><\/p><p>Sur le c\u00f4t\u00e9 de la descente, se trouve l\u2019espace de navigation avec un tabouret, une vraie table \u00e0 cartes, un meuble \u00e0 tiroirs et toutes les commandes \u00e9lectriques.<\/p><p><img class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-11061\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.bandofboats.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/cartes-santo.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"533\" height=\"400\" \/><\/p><p>En arri\u00e8re de la table \u00e0 carte s\u2019\u00e9tend une coursive avec trois vastes \u00e9tag\u00e8res par c\u00f4t\u00e9. Sur certains bateaux, un c\u00f4t\u00e9 de cette coursive a \u00e9t\u00e9 transform\u00e9e en atelier.<\/p><p><img class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-11062\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.bandofboats.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/coursive-santorin.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"615\" height=\"465\" \/><\/p><p>Enfin la cabine arri\u00e8re, \u00e0 couchettes s\u00e9par\u00e9es offre lumi\u00e8re et espace et dispose aussi de sa salle d\u2019eau qui offre un tr\u00e8s joli meuble de toilette, magnifiquement r\u00e9alis\u00e9, comme toute l\u2019\u00e9b\u00e9nisterie du bord d\u2019ailleurs.<\/p><p><img class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-11063\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.bandofboats.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/sdo-santo.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"534\" \/><\/p><h2>L'essai du Santorin<\/h2><p>Ayant rendez-vous pour ces deux jours d\u2019essai au \u201cquai des <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bandofboats.com\/fr\/buy\/marque\/amel\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Amel<\/a>\u201d du port de Hy\u00e8res, je me demandais si cette appellation n\u2019\u00e9tait pas un peu exag\u00e9r\u00e9e. Loin de l\u00e0, en 2011, ce sont pas moins de 12 Amel qui sont align\u00e9s comme \u00e0 la parade. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bandofboats.com\/fr\/buy\/marque\/amel\/modele\/amel-54\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Amel 54<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bandofboats.com\/fr\/buy\/marque\/amel\/modele\/super-maramu-2000\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Super Maramu 2000<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bandofboats.com\/fr\/buy\/marque\/amel\/modele\/super-maramu\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Super Maramu<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bandofboats.com\/fr\/buy\/marque\/amel\/modele\/santorin\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Santorin<\/a> ketch, sloop\u2026 Il y en a pour tous les go\u00fbts et l\u2019air de famille est ind\u00e9niable ce qui n\u2019aide pas \u00e0 retrouver celui qui m\u2019attend\u2026<\/p><p><img class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-11064\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.bandofboats.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/santo-face.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"493\" height=\"357\" \/><\/p><p>Lorsque je prends place dans le cockpit de ce <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bandofboats.com\/fr\/buy\/marque\/amel\/modele\/santorin\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Santorin<\/a> Sloop, j\u2019ai l\u2019impression \u00e9trange de me trouver aux commandes d\u2019un bateau \u00e0 moteur tant l\u2019ambiance est diff\u00e9rente de celle habituelle sur un voilier.<\/p><p>Royalement install\u00e9 derri\u00e8re mon pare-brise, je d\u00e9marre le moteur et sors le propulseur d\u2019\u00e9trave. Une fois largu\u00e9s, je sors de la place puis fais pivoter le bateau sur place. Je sors du port et le programme de ces deux jours consiste en un aller-retour Hy\u00e8res-Cap Lardier. Le bateau marche tr\u00e8s bien au moteur 8 n\u0153uds \u00e0 3000 RPM et 7,2 \u00e0 2400 RPM, allure de croisi\u00e8re. Heureusement, la m\u00e9t\u00e9o de ce matin nous offre un force 4 avec une mer peu agit\u00e9e mais on attend demain 6 ! Youpi !<\/p><p>D\u00e9rouler la grand-voile \u00e9lectriquement est un vrai jeu d\u2019enfant tout comme la border depuis le winch \u00e9lectrique mont\u00e9 sur ce voilier. La man\u0153uvre -\u00e9lectrique- du g\u00e9nois suit, tout aussi facilement. Je r\u00e9alise ces man\u0153uvres assis derri\u00e8re le pare-brise, sans m\u00eame ressentir le vent sur mon visage ! Je d\u00e9roule tout le g\u00e9nois et la grand-voile seul, en deux minutes \u00e0 peine. La position de barre est \u00e9tonnante, la g\u00eete en moins, elle ressemble un peu \u00e0 celle d\u2019un catamaran. A propos de g\u00eete, un indicateur gradu\u00e9, charmant et d\u2019un autre temps l\u2019indique au degr\u00e9 pr\u00e8s. En sortant de la baie avec un vent d\u2019est, je conserve tout dessus pour un premier bord de pr\u00e8s en direction de l\u2019\u00eele du levant. A cette allure, en sortant de la baie, on est un peu trop toil\u00e9s. Qu\u2019importe ! Je place le bateau face au vent, enclenche le pilote, choque l\u2019\u00e9coute d\u2019une main, puis , de l\u2019autre, utilise la commande \u00e9lectrique de la grand-voile pour y passer un ris. Je reprends la main, tout ceci n\u2019a pas dur\u00e9 une minute et j\u2019ai pris un ris, seul, sans m\u00eame sentir physiquement les \u00e9l\u00e9ments\u2026<\/p><p><img class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-11065\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.bandofboats.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/mauvais-temps-santo-1024x562.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"562\" \/><\/p><p>Rien \u00e0 dire, la protection du cockpit des <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bandofboats.com\/fr\/buy\/marque\/amel\/modele\/santorin#utm_source=blog&utm_medium=article_essai&utm_campaign=amel_santorin\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Amel<\/a>, ce n\u2019est pas une l\u00e9gende. Au pr\u00e8s (40\u00b0 du vent), 15 n\u0153uds de vent, avec le g\u00e9nois d\u00e9roul\u00e9 et un ris on atteint les 8 n\u0153uds presque imm\u00e9diatement. Il faut 80\u00b0 au bateau pour virer ce qui n\u2019est pas mal pour un voilier gr\u00e9\u00e9 d\u2019une grand-voile non latt\u00e9e.<\/p><p>Le bateau est ardent, mais pas trop, c\u2019est agr\u00e9able. Les sensations de barre, en revanche, ne sont pas g\u00e9niales. La transmission par cha\u00eene y est pour quelque chose. Quoi qu\u2019il en soit, <strong>les Santorins ne sont pas des r\u00e9gatiers, mais des croiseurs au long cours<\/strong> ou on laisse barrer le pilote automatique ou le r\u00e9gulateur d\u2019allure.<\/p><h2>Retour au portant!<\/h2><p><img class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-11066\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.bandofboats.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/yahoo-santo.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"727\" height=\"403\" \/><\/p><p>Apr\u00e8s une nuit au mouillage et une bouillabaisse bien m\u00e9rit\u00e9e, c\u2019est le moment de rentrer vers Hy\u00e8res. Ce matin, le vent \u00e0 forci, toujours est mais 6 beaufort et des vagues de 1,5 \u00e0 2 m.<\/p><p>Nous nous mettons en route prudemment, avec un ris dans le g\u00e9nois et dans la grand-voile. Avec 25 n\u0153uds de vent, le bateau n\u2019avance pas au portant avec cette garde-robe. Nous mettons tout dessus, avec toujours la m\u00eame facilit\u00e9, et les 13 tonnes charg\u00e9es de l\u2019engin se calent sur un bord, retenues par les 4 tonnes de lest du bulbe de quille.<\/p><p>8, 9, et 10 n\u0153uds avec les vagues ! Le bateau marche fort, et le barrer \u00e0 la vague constitue un grand plaisir m\u00eame si le retour de sensation n\u2019est pas celui d\u2019un course croisi\u00e8re.<\/p><p>Par contre, lorsqu\u2019on tape dans la vague, bien prot\u00e9g\u00e9s par le pare-brise et la casquette, AUCUN EMBRUN ne parvient \u00e0 nous mouiller. On est parfaitement \u00e0 l\u2019abri, et pour ma part, je le regrette, j\u2019aime sortir les bottes, la salopette et la veste de quart qui resteront ici, malgr\u00e9 le temps, dans mon sac !<br \/>Au moins n\u2019aurais-je pas besoin de les nettoyer, pi\u00e8tre consolation\u2026<\/p><p><strong>L\u2019exp\u00e9rience de man\u0153uvrer seul un voilier au pr\u00e8s, dans les vagues sans recevoir, ne serait-ce qu\u2019une goutte d\u2019eau de mer sur les lunettes depuis un poste de pilotage de timonier peut para\u00eetre d\u00e9concertante d\u2019embl\u00e9e, mais le programme de ce voilier n\u2019est-il pas la grande croisi\u00e8re, les horizons lointains, le bout du monde ? D\u2019ailleurs, ne croise-t-on pas toujours un Amel, dans tous les mouillages recul\u00e9s ?
